| Chess Master makes it out of New Orleans ALIVE Bulletin:
Just for you folks especially in New Orleans. An old friend of mine who was once a Junior Chess master made it out of New Orleans and Hurrican Katrina alive. This person, Jude Acers, also made it to Senior Chess Master [congratulations] and also made it to age 61. He's on the net, looking older but alive.
New Orleans, please treat him well, he's been through the mill of life. I would hope one more thing, that our Nation take better care of their Chess Wizards. Also: He has co-authored a book on Chess please take a peek. He really is a great fellow.
His most memorable stunt was playing 286 people simultaneously in New York during the Bicentennial....some of his friends have passed away: Harvey Lewis [Rest in Peace] and well as Larry Robbins. |
