Howdy, all!

Hello from Texas to all y'all on the forum. I am a new fencer (all of three months) and sure lovin' the sport. I sure have a lot to learn from those of you who have been around a while. All the little quirky tidbits that my coach may forget to mention and all that.

Howdy! Welcome to the forum. Anything in particular you're interested in learning? Tell us a little more about yourself. Since you've been fencing for only three months, I'm assuming you fence foil? Good weapon! Epee is alright-ish, though sabre is another great weapon to take up. Fencing is just a fun sport to particpate in regardless of which weapon you fence. Try all three when you have the chance. Feel free to ask any questions you may have, though take a gander through the search function before you decide to make a new thread. I hope you enjoy your stay, and thank you for signing up with the Fencing.net discussion forums.

-you would be correct

I am currently using a foil in my classes. The coach intends to give all of us in the class a chance to try sabre and epee as well so we can see what they are like.
Right now I am really working on developing control. I love the precision aspect of fencing!
It is my hope to one day work my way into a competition or two. I guess a little more practice won't go amiss, huh?
