Maybe it because it's Friday and I'm bored but I thought this might be a good idea. Kind of a FAQ thread. Basically if each poster could pick a common topic, search and collate all the most relevant post. Then rather than telling noob's to search we point them do the this thread. If it works maybe it can be a sticky.
I'm doing points first. I'm sure fencing shoes, best blade, PIL, classical versus sports would all make good additions. This could be in addition to the FAQ section proper.
BTW: How do I make the title a link the the thread?
The easiest way is to copy the URL, click the 'Insert Link' button, paste URL and press 'Return'.
When you've done that the URL inbetween the 'brackets' will be highlighted, simply write the title of the thread here and format according to taste; bold, underlined etc.
