Found a club!

I have been a kenshi (kendoist) for a while, and my sons took up the class about a year and a half ago. My youngest wants to fence, though and I have been intending to get back into fencing.

I seem to have been fortunate. My son and I found a fencing club less than seven miles from home. Checked it out and liked what we saw. The coach seemed very nice and after watching the class, he seemed to have the goods. They have beginner classes, which my son wants to take and I was amazed at the cost; gear, classes and USFA and club membership is about the same as just my kendo gear.

Just watch that your blade doesn't drift inward when you start doing footwork. Happens all the time in folks that do kendo first, since your guard positon is centered while fencing is not.
