Paris results are IN:
355: Fekete 180, Gorbatchouk 138, Karyuchenko 148, Kovacs 128, Imre 154=748+5 (Fekete)+4363=5116
Paolo: Schaier 170, Kulcsar 150, Kovacs 128, Zhakarov 100, Fischer 88=636+3911=4547
Veeco: Hansen 160, Flegler 152, Fekete 180, Denis 22, Shong 80=594+5(Fekete)+3306=3905
Latenight: Marik 188, Sepulveda 168, Malmgren 132, Jendrys 74, Pioc 0=562+5 (Marik)+3336=3903
Cyrano: Rota 194, Obry 190, Wood 0, Torrente 0, Bopape 0=384+30 (Rota +Obry)+10 (Rota and Obry)+2310=2734.
ANOTHER positional change as Veeco fights back to go past Latenight by the slenderest of margins.
Cyrano has the best results in the comp but still languishes along way behind...
355 extends his lead...

I think Fischer and Zhakarov must have retired!

If only we would count the team results: Hungary first, Italy second...

Nah, Fischer is still a babe in arms...
I reckon he has just got other priorities at the moment.
I think he will be back in force next year getting ready for Olympic qualification...

And that's the reason I picked him. I thought after the 2000 OG performance and some good results in the previous year, I thought that this would be the year that he would come on strong.

Maybe that loss to Obry was too much for him.

Mashad's results are in, Cyr, are you going to do us the favor of counting the points for us or should we do it ourselves?

Yeah, but since then, there has been even more results I think:

Before Stockholm we are missing Mashad, Legnano, Innsbruck, and Taiwan.

Then we're missing Stockholm.

After that we're missing Tunis and La Havane.

I guess we should try and come up with a different and simpler point system for next year... :-)
