Array Canada, in my experience, looks to the U.S.A. for many many things.
We're also keeping an eye on Russia, because they seem to be eyeing our North rather covetously.
We keep abreast of Afghanistan, although it mostly amounts to peacenik outcries whenever tragedy stikes another Canadian there.
But, like I said, most of our focus is on the United States. Not for news or political developments, largely, but rather in a cultural sense.
Canada is very much like a little brother crying "me too!" whenever his big brother gets some new and shiny plaything.
I hope this adds to the conversation. If not, ignore my ramblings. The preceding post brought to you by Rabid Monk (TM). Rabid Monk: informative, irreverent, interesting, random and downright odd posts, done with pride since 1983. Similar Threads -
