Team competition in individual sports - ESPN article

I found this interesting article on ESPN.com today. It is from interviews with nearly 2 dozen collegiate golf coaches, and discusses the balance between competitiveness and cooperation on their teams.

After recent discussions here about collegiate fencing, and about the difference between team competitions and individual competitions, I thought this article draws a nice parallel to our discussions, and offers some insights that I bet that many of our collegiate coaches would agree with.

Just food for thought.

Thanks for sharing. Nice article.

Unfortunately I need to spread more rep before I can get back to you.
