Given Anakin's propensity for losing his sabre, (or having it cut in half) what makes you think that anything he used in Ep II would be the same one that Luke eventually gets in Ep IV? I'm sure the sabre given to Luke was at best first used in Ep III....

I think that only because the Anakin lightsabre that I bought at Wal Mart is the same look as the one that Luke was given in EP IV.

What color is the blade??? I thought that Anakin's was blue in the movie and Luke's first one is green. Just wondering.

Luke's first sabre was blue. He constructed his own green sabre inbetween EP V & VI.

Well, I bought all the lightsabres last week but my friend and I haven't had the chance to use them yet.

After looking over all five, I've attempted to classify their style and use.

    1. Darth Maul - Crap. Horrible for infighting and poor even at distace.

    2. Qui-Gonn - Long blade, good for keeping distance.

    3. Obi-Wann - Simular use.

    4. Anakin - Simular use.

    5. Count Dooku - curved grip is perfect for infighting.

We haven't tested the new ones in battle yet, so I'll get back with you. My girlfriend pointed out the fact that Dooku's looked like an orthopedic grip much to my displeasure. I actually think there may be a few advantages to his. Still, you can't discout Anakin's sabre. After all, its Luke's first sabre!!! I mean the simplistic design and sentimental feel makes it my all time favourite!

    Totaly Agree...
Darthmauls is ok if you use only one side, and keep the other locked in somehow, but then the handle is irritating, gives it a very big handle with a short blade... and it sucks with both sides out unless you know how to fight like that. I took the bottom of Obiwans (circulair with spikes) and put it on the bottom of Qui-Gons (quigons was like a square how borring) to make it look really cool. Me and my brother still fight with 'em when we can lol.

Ok, some questions. I will try to keep away from the spoilers, but I'm not sure what exactly would be spoilers versus common knowledge.

    1. Why does somebody want to kill senator Amidala?

    2. Who is that dead jedi that was referred to at planet Kamino?

    3. What's with those stupid cow-like animals on Naboo? Was that just for gratuitous CGI?

    4. What's the point of the conveyor belt scene? More gratuitous CGI + element of suspense? Compared to a plain-old Batman movie or even some James Bond movie, that scene was just amateurish.

    5. When Amidala got her clothes ripped, how come they didn't rip it a bit higher? Might as well...eh?

    6. Which alien creature in the bar/nightclub had the best butt?

1.She was one of the more popular senator's who was opposed to the Dooku's splinter group.

2.Just a dead Jedi's name to place a small order of clones (1.2 million)

3.Who know's however I have always wanted to know what a nerf looked like.

4.Possibly, they were trying to infiltrate the base and ended up in the factory... But I agree it was a bit gratuitous.

    5.Darn the luck

6.I think the one with the black fish net tights and the high thong.

Two reasons: 1. She's the head of the anti-clone army group in the senate. 2. The Trade Federation Viceroy have a vendetta out on her for ruining their plans in Naboo during EP II.

    2. Who is that dead jedi that was referred to at planet Kamino?

Siphadeous (sp??) Just a name to order a clone army under.

Personally, I thought the cow creatures were poorly done. In fact, that whole scene was terrible. Anakin didn't look quite right riding on the top of one.

[B] Gotta agree there, it was nothing compared to a good 'ole Connery bond flick. I thought it was poorly done and another idea should have been come up with. C3po was pretty silly I thought.
