| Not much of a challenge?
Keep in mind that most fast food locations have a policy of serving from limited menu depending on the shift (i.e. breakfast vs rest of the day). That aspect alone would force the break on pace.
Also, chain fast food in general are considered among eating enthusiasts as "empty food." Meaning that despite high Caloric content, they are easily "collapsable" in volume. In other words, no challenge value whatsoever except for exhibitional value and impressive only to the laymen.
So, in case of BK.... That's 6 breakfast sandwiches and various options on sides. For the rest of the day, what amounts to 17 sandwiches (extremely tiny ones at that, I might add ) and some chunks of chicken tenders, "salads" (collapsable to volume of a golf ball) and rather limited options of sides subject to, of course, "corporate portion control." And very limited number of drinks and desserts.
In contrast, 1 full-course meal featuring, say, a 72-oz steak in 1 hr in a "real restaurant manner" would offer far greater difficulty value. "Real food" is always more difficult because, well, it really is FOOD and not an "empty" approximation...
There are, however, "specialty burger" establishments at various parts of the country. Eating just 1 sandwich from such locations might provide more challenge than sweeping entire shift-menu at BK or McD's.

| I know we've had threads where this would belong more, so I don't want to move this off topic, but....

| I find the much cheaper version of the BK quad stacker is to go to McDees and buy 4 double cheese burgers for roughly the same price. Gives you 8 of everything, patties, buns, pickles, and cheese. That and a large fry and Coke keep you full through at least one practice.

Mauler, I think you should go for it. Then tape it, and post it on the internet if you succeed, to become a worldwide legend. |

Are you sure you guys aren't perhaps misinterpreting the challenge -- i.e. one gallon of milk in 1 MINUTE, as opposed to 1 HOUR? One gallon of milk in 1 hour couldn't possibly be a challenge of any value.... by any standard......?

I've never seen evidence of someone completing the challenge- even in 1 hour.
But if you really want to see for yourself...

As far as I know, it hasn't been done. http://youtube.com/results?search_qu...&search=Search |

| Jay it's not the drinking of the milk...it's the keeping it down afterwards. Drinking a gallon of milk within an hour and the holding it down, for the normal human body, is physically impossible because the human body cannot take that much lactate or w.e in that short amount of time. You can take lactaid pills or something to stop this from happening though.
