Quit (no longer with us)
Array oh c'mon e.dew, lighten up a little, they're having a little fun on the board.
okay, inferences aside, is it going to be called camp x? or camp xx? or camp xxx? [sort of uncomfortable, what about all those mosquitoe bites]
e.dew's in charge of the party all night, and i get a feeling it will be something like this.
a bunch of men sitting in easy chairs with a six pack of beer in undershirts and shorts watching whatever games are on the television while a small group of frightened women stand in the kitchen preparing snacks and periodically popping in to replenish the chip bowl. that's okay, this is sort of understandable, something that we can all relate to.

Quit (no longer with us)
Array i just tried a new pasta de sotto, it's absolutely out of this world, i got it at william sonoma's and it barely needs ANY sauce whatsoever, just add a little PESto sauce and and little grated cheese and you'll be HEAVEN BOUND! -
Just read this thread through and I was wondering when it would come to the REALLY important adult stuff:
So, what kind of food would this camp dish up?
Also, just a little question about that French camp with those special healing baths. Is there a special reason a camp for us elderly folk (over 35) is being held in a spa town with special healing baths? Hmmm. Those were wonderful eggs we had for
breakfast...I mean lunch...I mean dinner
...I mean mushrooms. -

Array DamedEscrime:
I am still holding open several weeks of vacation time, hoping beyond hope for an adult camp.
Let us know, as time continues to slip away.

I am sorry, but even being a guy, that is a very scary idea for a party. I will stick with my wine and reading, thank you very much! ... without remorse for the past, confident in the present, and full of hope for the future, [d'artagnan] went to bed and slept the sleep of the brave.

The cruise ship angle is interisting, And whilst I love pirate movies, I think it might be.... difficult to work on your footwork whilst you are regaining your sea legs.... I've been to sea a few times, so I can say that whilst many ships are large and rock less, they all have some. The Aircraft Carrier I was on for a ride along had very little... but it stil rocked. Cruise ships do too. -
On the other hand, It might be fun to learn saber/cutlass on a cruise ship..... Any comments? -

Array yes it would be fun, but i wonder would it deteriorate into one of those summer camp things that summer movies are made of? it would sort of be a riot though. -

You mean where I find true love and you get the better of a mean counciler, and Dartanengan finally beats the world's best 'flick'er without compromising his principles of classical style?
I'm up for that. Similar Threads -
