    Happy Holoween

Man is my bod sore. Had a great Holoween costume party at the club last nite. Lotta grinds and bevvies to cool the thirst. And ended the eve with a 4 on 4 team epee event in costume. What a blast! Although fencing to 80 touches does take a little time. One of the guys wore a "Samurai" costume made of that bubbly thermal refective blanket type thingies . We later found out the shiny bit is conductive and some ( ok a lot) of the epee hit were shorting between the tip and the barrel. At one point I swear I hit him harder than I have ever hit anyone before and nothing happened. We gave him the award for best cheater. Up side is we have a new way of playing with our Electric Shinai. We can make a japanese type vest and leg bits out of something other than expensive lame material to play electric Samurai. Guess we do have too much time on our hand........

Happy Holoween/( Day of the dead for the brownies out there)

Attila ( I turned 44 too. Man I getting old!)

    Thanx!

Our club has a large vet contingent and I'm the puppy in the group. Can't wait for 50 though. I'd like to fence for my home country in their vet team and go to vet world's. If you are gonna get stomped ,better to say " yeah, man, I got stomped at WORLD'S!"

I'm planning on Reno in March. That'll be my first NAC. I do have my eyes on France for the future.
