| I'd still give her a card for not being completely clothed on the strip, but I'd watch it happen first.

| I have very flat feet as well. I find that it helps when I wear flexible soled shoes, and I can strech them without taking my shoes off. Of course, if they're too flexible, that means there's not enough padding underneath me feet, which creates other problems.
My feet used to mess up my joints so much that I would fall down all the time-- I then got custom insoles, and now i just hurt.... Big improvement.

| In this matter, rules currently do not let the referees distinguish the difference between removing a sock or removing underwear in front of the cameras, audience (present and televised), and possible publications (i.e. quaterly NGB magazine) at a later time.
So in short, please don't. Wait til you're on your own time. While you're on a fencing strip, you have a role to play. We all do (fencers, coaches, referees) to a different capacity. And we are all expected to conduct ourselves as such.

Actually, I said I was the most relevant answer because TrainingDummy is from my division (actually, former club), and so the odds I will be his referee when he takes his shoes off are substantially higher than anyone else's in this thread.
However, I didn't anticipate the intervention of Greg_D, who, among a few others on here, can alter my answers with his posts. I'm glad I was right the first time in this case. Quote: |

| He also held a gun to your head so you'd take a day off at Sacremento Nationals, didn't he? |
