In fact it sounds like a fun day. One that should be repeated again the next day. And the next. Then again, that's why I go up to PdF for Memorial Day Weekend. Well, hey... if you can find a facility that can hold 42 strips, have each school bring 1 strip per 2 squads (rounding up, of course.), and have each squad's entry fee enough to pay for roughly 1/2 of a ref plus their share of facilities and prizes... I say go for it. Figure 1 hour per match, require all bouts to be fenced, and allow for time-outs and subs like an NCAA dual meet... 8 hours the first day, 7 hours the second, and all fencers go home exhaused. (of course I expect sabre to be done the first day around 5:00pm, and women's foil to start double striping squad matches at the same point to catch up.)
Comic bonus: Watching coaches of schools with six squads fielded try to split themselves six ways. Joy!

Array I have been asked to produce a modified version of LS's format that combines various comments and concerns with his format.
I have a rough draft, I would like to polish it up before I send it out. If anyone would like to contribute (or heckle), please pm/post/email me, and I will email you my current draft.
