Array Well I thought I would get 1 or 2 out of my pocket change.
When I get bored of them I'll happily hand them over. You realise, of course, that they'll be used! -
LOL If I got ahold of one of them... I swear it'd be broken in a day... P.S. My AOL screen name is Holy Kiwi DMc Send me a message sometime -

Yes, Nice... But I'd rather have a rapier, or a katana. I don't care much for sabres...
I was wandering if there was a single edged weapon, ALOT like a katana, but instead of it being curved, its strait... P.S. My AOL screen name is Holy Kiwi DMc Send me a message sometime -

I beleive you can get the katana's in straight format, not sure of the name, but it was billed as a "Ninja Sword".
(not my words btw)

Array Well, the Jubilee sword is gorgeous work, no question. But I'd rather have a sword that looks... well, like a sword.
Not that there's anything wrong with fancy, but one should at least be able to comfortably hold it in one's hand and swing it. This sword's hilt looks like it would be damned uncomfortable to hold, and not very pleasant to swing.
To my mind, most of the beauty of any sword derives from simplicity of line and how well it fuses form with function. If decorataion interferes with a sword's ability to act in its primary role, that decoration makes it less beautiful in my eyes, not more.
But that's why Baskin-Robbins has 31 flavors, I guess... Nothing is more frightening than ignorance in action. Similar Threads -
