There was a small news storylet in the paper last week about a mayor of a suburb of St. Louis who was arrested for soliciting a bribe from a contractor company. The company went to the FBI.

I was curious as to which Party he belonged to, but the item did not say and I have been unable to find out one way or the other. Neither the Republican or Democratic Party websites for the state mention him, and even the published minutes of town meetings did not mention his affiliation.

Anyone know? I think his name is Brown.
