| Tats?
Hey all you fencing gods and goddesses. I just posted a similar question on the "intros" page, but its worth repeating here I think: I'm looking for decent SPORT fencing tattoo designs, not those horrible clunky barbarian broadswords ("I'm compensation for you-know-what") with flames and skulls and crap wrapped around them. Can you point me to anything good?

I firmly believe in tattoos being "custom" and not picked out of a book. If you truly want to have something on your body for the rest of your life, then sit down with a true tattoo artist, not just someone who has a shop with a bunch of pictures on the wall. Tell them what you want, and they'll design it FOR YOU.

| I would keep looking for a photo, too. Even the best artists have trouble with stuff that they never do and don't know very well. I bet they've probably done a million broadswords and never a sport fencing weapon. | |

| Google searches are sorta iffy on this one. Crossing "tattoo" with fencing-related words produces some hits, but very few, especially when you go through the "images" display option. Other search engines aren't much better.

| If you live anywhere near Los Angeles, look up Freewind at the Black Wave tattoo shop....he was a competitive 3 weapon fencer for several years 9and one of my teamates)
You're not going to find any flash (the stuff on the walls) that's fencing related...best to have the artist do something more personal for you. | |

Do you know what you'd like to get?
If I remember right, www.fencingsucks.com had a lot of images. | |

| Thanks to everyone. A few good ideas here.
Yes, I' plan to talk to an artist about designing something personally for me. I was hoping to be able to take an example to him tho. I'll keep looking.
