| Here's to the mojito This thread exists wholly to sing the praises of that fine summer concoction known as the mojito. Has there ever been such a fine summer drink!?

| Whiskey sour. With a whiskey soaked cherry, and a little lemon garnish. Although I suppose it's not fair to mention the whiskey sour in this thread since it's not just a great summer drink, it's a great drink anytime!

| Just a good margarita. Make it with Grand Mariner and Corazon, on the rocks, with salt and a wedge of lime... on second thought... make it two.

| Cape Codder. Anything that requires mixing more than two liquids is too much work for a summer drink.

| Mojito-bites itch terribly. And you can get West Nile and malaria and sleeping sickness and who knows what else from them. I recommend you drain all stagnant water in your vicinity and get a few bug-zappers.

| I'd have to agree that the mojito is probably the best summer drink--do you like yours with club soda or plain water more? I'm a plain water girl, myself. |

| Summer Nationals will be in the home of the mojito...
Don't use that Baccardi pre-mixed, flavored mojito rum, however; the lime and mint need to be muddled right in the glass.
I'd also recommend the caipirnha. There's a good Brazilian place on Ocean Drive a few miles from the venue that makes 'em up right. |

| Pimms? How can no one have mentioned Pimms, one of the finest summer drinks available. http://www.anyoneforpimms.com/
Ok, so it is very English, but I guess so am I (I even own, and on occasion, wear a linen suit). |
