| Don't try convincing anyone that epeeists can distinguish one smell from another, after their olfactory senses have been destroyed by the pongs wafting from their own jackets and masks.
Really, you guys would have an innate advantage in applying for jobs like honeywagon driver or cadaver handler...

| You can't expect better from an epeeist. Their grasp of social conventions is as tenuous as their grasp of fencing ones.
I'd opine that they were all raised by wolves, but wolves are noble creatures and I wouldn't wish epeeists on them.
Jerboas. Maybe they were raised by jerboas. It'd explain the bouncing.
Or skunks. That would explain the predilection for stink.
If only skunks bounced I think we'd finally have our answer as to the social origins of epeeists. But for now, the mystery remains unsolved.
