    Aaaiiiiiiiieeeeee!!!!!

Last night at my fencing club the coach decided that one of the teams that are going to be in an upcoming event needed practice. I was drafted as a warm body to make up an opposing team.

I was forced to fence...... *shudder* ....saber!

    *sobs* I feel so dirty!!!!!

It's okay. Really, it is. The way you get through it is to pretend that it's a lightsaber, and every time you hit your opponent, imagine that you cut off a body part.

Maybe you should talk to a therapist, fencing saber is likely to cause all sorts of damage

Yeh know I got more and much fatter bruises from fencing sabre compared to epee.

Wait... what fencing sabre or epee???

I'd rather fence with rotating chainsaws, personally.

Oh, I'm confident that you could do the job on yourself quite unassisted.

You should have stopped after the first three words of your last post. It would have gotten your point across perfectly well.

Just like I presume it would be if you were fencing, that cut was way off-target

That's only because your spindly little foilist body offers so few square inches of target TO hit.

"When your opponent fears you, then's the moment when you give the fear its own rein, give it the time to work on him. Let it become terror. The terrified man fights himself. Eventually he attacks in desperation. That is the most dangerous moment, but the terrified man can be trusted usually to make a fatal mistake. You are being trained here to detect these mistakes and use them."
