| Really Lost, but somehwat found, swordsman Hello, all! I've been around this site for a while, but I just registered a couple days ago. I am interested in fencing, but I don't live in an area where it's available at all. All I have is me and my trusty foil (and a couple books). I really hope to meet a lot of intersting fencers and have a nice experience.
Haha my first thread/post |

| Hi! Where do you live? There may be more available than you realize.

| Have you checked here?
There's got to be at least one club near you; there's a fair amount of fencing in MA.

| True New Englander..... Anything over an hour is a daytrip.......
But yes, I fence at Noho-- There aren't the numbers that there are in the Boston clubs, but the coaching is certainly very competent for beginners!!
Even Worcester might not be entirely out of contention- www.worcesterfencing.com
Although if you really end up loving it, you'd be suprised how quickly an hour's drive really becomes not that bad.....

| Welcome, welcome!
Ah, I see you already made a wise decision: foil!
Best of luck in finding a fencing club and happy fencing!
