| I suspect he means fencing classification, not referee rating. |

| Heh. Just noticed that on that list my membership expiration is listed as 2099. Apparently the USFA doesn't believe I can live to be 125 years old.

| I was looking at the spreadsheet with names and ratings and have a question: How can there be in DivII fencers with a "B05" or "B04" rating? Is this a typo or am I missing something. The handbook states that the the if the fencer applies for the NAC or competition with a "C" or under then they meet the criteria. It further states that they will remain qualified if their rating changes subsequent to this. If these folks had a rating change wouldn't they be "06" not "05" or "04"?

RAC | DV2ME and DV2WE each have one fencer with a B06... everyone else with As and Bs are cadets. There are a few problem children that entered D2 and D3 with higher ratings, but they are listed separately with notes by their names.

| Actually, the sheet I am seeing has One (1) B04 and Five (5) B05's for DV2WE.
RAC
Edit: Just reloaded the sheet and it was updated and corrected so it was typos and ...

| It's also entirely possible for one to enter the tournament, and then earn a higher rating before the close of registration. I fenced in Div II Nationals with a B05 in Sacramento.

In the early version of the list there were persons listed with B04 and B05 ratings which could not have been earned post-registration. Either way it is a moot point as the list is corrected!

| Does anyone have any preliminary information on the schedule for the NAC C?
I have an opportunity to travel overseas for my employer if I'm wiling to leave the first week in December and not return until January. Yes, I'm willing to forfeit Christmas for this. However, I'm not willing to forfeit the chance to compete in the WSV50 and thus I'm trying to determine if I'd be able to fly back, compete, and return. |

-B | Maybe it's a good omen that you WILL live to 2099. Sorry you can't make it to the next century.
