Confused about chest protector sizing.

Hello,
I am planning to buy the Maxi Guard chest protector from Sword Masters, but I am confused about the sizing. When you measure chest size (under the bust) are you supposed to add 5 inches like with regular bra band sizes, or are you just supposed to use that size?
Thanks!

The Maxi Guard is the same exact one most of the vendors sell...they all come from the same manufacturer in New Zealand (and the same US importer)

The size is very simple...for women it's your inch measurement underneath the bust, and your cup size. For men or girls who haven't developed yet, (Masterguard) its the inch measurement under the armpits....that's all.

It's on the JACKETS that you have to add (inches under the bust, add 4 for a woman....12 for a man)
