Well, beach dueling is fun, but I never considered that kind of beach. I won't say what I'm thinking here for fear of the wrath of 355.

Unfortunately, there's not too many of "those kind" of beaches around here. A really hot day here would be in the high 70's or maybe even 80 deg F. I try to always take my gear with me when I travel. You never know when the opportunity may present itself to fence someone or somwhere new!

Tonight some friends and I fenced in this place on campus called Physician's Auditorium on the stage. There was a piano set up and we kinda pushed it out of the way and were on our merry way! At one point some girls came in because they'd left something somewhere in the seats. They stopped for a while and watched us--it was in the middle of my hysterical bout with Greg when I was making a lot of noise! aaah--then left. That amused me!

We'd started fencing at the Cistern (ever seen the movie The Patriot? It's the round thing they're all walking around when Gabriel is enlisting in the militia! Watch closely next time, you'll see it) but it was evening and they've got some HORRIBLE mosquitoes down here in Charleston they're so much worse than regular mosquitoes! Anyway they were biting so bad (I have about fifteen or so bites on each leg right now!) we fled into Physician's and that's the coolest place I've fenced so far.

    THE END! <img src="graemlins/dunce.gif" border="0" alt="[Dunce]" />

Only fifteen per limb? Not bad. You think it's bad there, try the north. North Dakota/Minnesota in summer - they bite through denim. And you think I'm kidding.

It is the soldier, not the campus organizer, who gives us the freedom to demonstrate. It is the soldier who salutes the flag, who serves beneath the flag, and whose coffin is draped by the flag, who allows the protestor to burn the flag. - Father Dennis Edward O'Brien, USMC

OK I don't think I WANT to come there and experience that! I'll leave you to those bad boys! <img src="graemlins/freak2.gif" border="0" alt="[Freak]" />

Oh wow I just saw six squirrels chasing each other in a line through the trees outside my window! Isn't that a sight....
