Welcome to Fantasy Land.
You may ask yourselves why Craig allowed this to become a part of the fencing.net message board. You may ask what this has to do with fencing. I'll tell you: Fencers are incredibly creative people. We have to be. If we don't get creative, we will lose. Try to NOT be creative on the strip and see how far you get. This has become a shelter for those of us in the fencing community to practice our creativity. As the Dame stated in a previous post, there's more to this than meets the eye. I'm a "founding mother" myself, and will not have this area disparaged. So, saying that, I will give one warning...and one warning only:
Respect this area.
That's not a suggestion. It's a command. I will enforce it as one of the moderators. Read the rules. Mind your manners. Consider me a jerk all you want. I'm one of the protectors of this "land." It's my job. I take it seriously.
Knowing the rules, have fun. Create your own worlds, your own characters. Explore new possibilities. Live your dreams...or your nightmares. Don't knock it unless you've tried it (with sincerity).
