Steve Sobel Tournament

After seeing the 16000 sq ft of fencing (20 tournament strips) with a parking lot that can handle 250 cars on Sept 17th, come back on the week-end of Sept 30-Oct 1 and fence in the 3rd annual Steve Sobel tournament.
We hope to entertain over 500 fencers over the weekend.

We're located in Maplewood/So. Orange, 25 min from penn Station via NJ Transit and easily accessable from Philly, NYC, Long Island, Westchester and all of NJ.
Most, if not all of the open events on Sunday will be potentially A-2 events.
Our community is one of the most fencing friendly small towns in the USA.
Our Mayor was a fencer (quit because of bad knees) Our HS has the best HS fencing program in the country. columbia HS has 150 fencers in its varsity program and our lady cougars are State Champs for the last 4 yrs and for 8 out of the last 9 yrs.

Registration should appear on Ask Fred by the week-end. So, sign up early and come and fence at our place, NJFA, 50-58 Burnett Ave, Maplewood, NJ
and meet the Mayor, members of the town council, Steve Sobel and many other dignitaries.
