    (If you really want to know my thoughts on growing US fencing, I think I have always been consistent in saying that consistent high-level results need two things:

    1) financial resources for elite fencers, to enable them to have a decent standard of living while they continue to train at a professional level after college.

    2) Professional coaching standards (see Veeco's and Gladius's comments in the coaching qualities thread).
