Array Yeah--I think you updated the page but didn't upload the files. "Arm yourself, Watson, there is an evil hand afoot ahead." -- Dennis Pierce, 2010 Bulwer-Lytton contest, detective fiction category runner-up. -

Array Well you just made my day!
These are awsome. "When your opponent fears you, then's the moment when you give the fear its own rein, give it the time to work on him. Let it become terror. The terrified man fights himself. Eventually he attacks in desperation. That is the most dangerous moment, but the terrified man can be trusted usually to make a fatal mistake. You are being trained here to detect these mistakes and use them." -Frank Herbert, Dune -

Wow! The first place photo in the Action category looks very cool. Excellent action and really nice composition. I thought that you'd be taking the highest scoring submission we made in each category. Not that I'm complaining this time. But it should perhaps be made more clear in future contests how multiple submissions from one photographer (in the same category and in different categories) will be handled.
Thanks for the contest! -

Array You make a good point, and we've learned some things in this first contest. Since we didn't stipulate more specifically about multiple entries, beyond limiting to five per category, we wanted to be as fair as possible and ensure the best photos were awarded -- regardless of it being from any number of photographers (including just one or two).
Expect that in upcoming contests we'll be a bit more specific.
Any other suggestions about any part of the contest? -
