Life's Little Mysteries Solved...

1: Why do we always end up with odd socks?

Ans:
Osmosis causes socks to move through the porous space-time membrane at the bottom of washing machines into an alternate universe which has a lower concentration of socks.

I wish I could think of something witty to write here.

... a place technically known as the "hose-zone"

Anyway, on an entirely different note (this is my thread and i will do with it as i will - haha!)

Has anyone else had or seen Apple and Kiwi sunny delight? Its the same colour as Slimer from the Ghostbusters. Probably the same consistency too! It could be a conspiracy.

Not sure - I've never really tried to taste ficticious characters... It doesn't taste too bad actually, considering the colour. I mean, you tell me, what does slime taste like?

Haze, don't put that stuff in you body. Ick. There's a reason Slimer looked the way he did.

Ah, I know. I only had it once, I usually stay 3 million miles away from stuff with that much colouring and other rubbish in it, but sometimes I feel the need to go on a random few days of eating stuff that's bad for you. I try to eat quite healthily, as much as I can within the complete lack of time and money that consitutes being a student these days, though I'm noticing the bad stuff is definitly cheaper. It shouldn't be like this, moan complain grumble whinge moan complain moan.

(*steps down off soapbox, and goes back to being at least a foot shorter than the rest of the world*)

I'm drinking Robinsons Grape and Melon High Juice now, with just enough concentrate to stop the boring water tasting like boring water. Is that better?

This morning I was drinking Pete and Johnny's Strawberry and Banana 100% Fruit Smoothie. Very very very very nice, but £1.50 for a litre bottle. I best go back to the water / squash.

I've seen a couple of odd fencers wearing different colored socks when they fence. I mean one leg would be blue the other leg red.

I'm an occasional ribena fan, but the toothkind one just doesnt taste right. Anyway, thats quite expensive too, relatively speaking. I have a jar of vimto flavoured jam somewhere if that counts...

Different coloured socks... and the problem with that is...? I thought they were all sposed to be like that...

Haze, simple solution DONT BUY the toothkind. Buy one of those really HUGE bottles of concentrate from Safeways and eek it out by making it really weak... (thats what I do!)

My socks are different colors, and not just when I'm fencing.

I think it has to do with folding my laundry in the dark.
