| Hi from Colorado NCF. Hello everyone. I'm from Boulder County Colorado. I have been taking fencing lessons for a few years now at Northern Colorado Fencers (NCF). Gary Copeland and Brian House have been two of my coaches. They are great coaches, and through their teaching I have advanced much quicker than I ever could have on my own.
It's also been great getting to have bouts with the NCF team members, who are all quite obliging to test the blade of a relatively casual fencer like myself.
Anyway, I don't know how many on here know about NCF, but I do hope to stay on here and learn more about the Sport of Fencing from everyone here and of course, just to talk.

| Hi, welcome to the forum! Do you know a fencer out there named Dan Rees? He's a pal of mine.
EDIT: And just about all of us know about NCF and Gary Copeland. It's one of the most prominent clubs in the country (and Gary one of the most prominent coaches.)

| Thanks for all the welcomes!
I don't think I know someone at the club named Dan Rees. Is he a regular fencer? Because one time there was a coach (I forget his name) from the Boulder CU fencing club that would come to NCF. He taught a class to his students there.
It does feel interesting to have a guy like Jimmy Moody or Nick Chinman fencing at the club.
I chose the name Gamling from Lord of the Rings. Tolkien was a big fan of Norse Mythology.
I hear there is a movie version of Beowulf coming out.

| Well, they lost it.
Too bad. It spoiled my pizza night, but the pizza wasn't spoiled, I was.
