Now the really scary part: nuclear material from the former Eastern Block has been smuggled and sold all over the place. A lot of it has been intercepted, but I am sure that some
got through... so some lunatic might actually have a nuclear weapon stashed somewhere.
Actually it requires quite a bit of infrastructure and resources to make a nuke. most importantly, some bloke (or blokes) who know how to do it. and this is what scars me most: there are experts for sale from the former soviet union and so on! then there is the question of making it explode. lots of nobel laureates took quite some time to get that right. but suppose you, as a terrorist/mad scientist laready know how to do that. u then only need a goodly supply of high-grade explosives, a well designed ignition system (the bomb that makes the bomb go boom), and a large truck to carry it all in. problem is, these kind of things might not go boom when u want them to. u gota test first... aye, theres the rub.
Let's face it it's the end of the world! There's nothing we can do about it. Nada.
Just kidding. Several people have died so far but they'll never be able to take EVERYONE out. Most citizens have nothing to worry about. Why freak out over something you can't do anything to change?
