Masks for pointed heads?

this might sound weird, but let me explain.
I've noticed that all masks have a flat top. however, my head points at the top. thus, when I wear a mask, the flat top of the mask has to rest on one of the point's sides. thus, my mask is slanted, and I look like a total doof.

does anybody else have the dreaded pointed head syndrome? anybody else done anything to fix the slanted mask catastrophe? I figure I could probably put in some foam wedges or something to form-fit my head, but it would be nice if I could figure out how to somehow make my mask pointed without making it narrower.

thanks for any and all input

Pointy head, huh? Well I've got to say that is quite an odd one.

Try pushing your mask in from the ears. This will elongate the mask in the vertical direction, and narrow it in the horizontal. If you play with it enough, you may get it to fit on that pointy head of yours.

I don't think your idea will work as the head should touch the top of the mask (except LP or their copies). You have the tang that is touching the head and because it is usually two bars seperated they should not be touching the center but to each side of the center.

If these two bars are too close together, it might be posible to spread them, but have someone experienced to do that. The top being flat should have no affect on the top of the head.

yes. I'm a conehead.

c'mon now lol...

maybe I should have said pointy, not pointed. it's more like this.
http://fotola.com/fotola/2004/Feb/sh...b8dc90-web.jpg

it's not very pointy at all, but enough to make a mask tilt.

thanks Chafunkta and DHCJr for the help...as for everyone else, silly me, thinking I'd actually get serious advice!...

Check with Ranger Joe's or any military gear supplier for a 'helmet donut" made for ballistic helmets. They're made to attach to a helmet liner, but you could probably use some silicone to keep it in place (on the mask, not your head.) Some people cut them out of thin foam or the like. It's cheaper than a new mask.

Have you tried a skull cap or beanie? It might make things a bit more comfy...

Try asking the mother ship to beam you a new head as they have fitted you with the wrong type for this planet.
