Everything won't fit in my guard

I recently bought a new epee with a Vniti guard, an AF socket, and a medium Uhlmann visconti grip. Also, my body cords are Absolute. I really like the guard, but I happen to have very long fingers and I can't find a way to fit everything in there and still be able to put my hand comfortably on the grip with the body cord plugged in. I've tried moving things around and haven't been able to find a suitable position for things. I plan to send it with my boyfriend to nationals in hopes that he can find some suggestions there, but I thought perhaps someone here could also suggest how I might solve my problem and hopefully keep that guard.

The position of the connector is a very personal thing. On the Epee guard you have more room on the outside and the bottom. The standard place to put the connector is on the inside straight out (3:00 for L and 9:00 for R).

There seems to be 3 other positions that I see. One may work for you.

The positions are listed by clock position with those for Left-Handers on the Left.

High and Inside 1:30 10:30
Low and Inside 4:30 7:30
Back of Hand 9:00 3:00

There are others, but I don't see them.

It also depends on which way you have the guard off center. Different people do that differently also.

Im left handed with average-large hands due to long fingers and I keep my sockets on the 9o'clock position which is the back of my hand.

so how does your bodycord go around your wrist? Wouldn't it leave a little loop on the back of your hand that could catch your opponent's point a little easier?

I have a good amount of cant in my tang and just started building my weapons like this. It's worked well thus far. It keeps the socket out of the way and seems to give a slightly better balance to the blade. I think the position of socket boils down to personal taste.
