    Lady Fencers Needed for Article

Hey ladies! I'm working on a fencing article to submit to a woman's magazine, & I need your input. If you're interested in answering a few questions, email me at moonitic@aol.com.

Also, I'm still accepting submissions for the ladies' dream book I'm working on (don't worry guys, there will be an opportunity for you too). Info on that can be found at: www.marygibbs.com/dreams.htm

    Thanks!

Sorry, Mango...only serious submissions will be accepted.

For those who have sent your dreams, thanks a bunch! We're still collecting, & when we have enough we'll get down to the nitty gritty work of writing the copy that will accompany the dreams, to flesh it out.

One publisher that I've spoke to is already interested in looking at the final product. So you see, this is a REAL deal, not message board musings or the ramblings of a crazy person.

When I talk about writing, I'm dead serious.

If you want to know the questions, you gotta email me (sorry, I'm really protective of that kind of stuff).

We need any kind of dream, as long as it's not sexual or something that would be given more of a "PG" rating. We'll be breaking them down into categories (stress induced, pregnancy, pregnancy induced, horror, romantic, etc.). There's more info on my website:

I don't think I could answer those questions.

I'm female but I ain't no lady fencer 'cause I don't fence like a lady.

And most of the really good women fencer's I've fenced don't either. Ah, I still remember that time -name deleted- closed distance when I lunged and hit her. She stepped on my foot to keep it in place, punched me in the stomach (her back to the director) and knocked me off the strip. She pointed out to the director that my touch should be annuled because I was out of control. I couldn't argue (no air). She was a big gun back then and I was the same little squirt I still am. I lost the touch.

My Goodness, I'm glad I never ran into that one! I'm afraid I'd have to hurt her if she did that to me. I certainly can put "Ladiness" aside when provoked.

"Lady" in this case merely means "female," not a well bred, dainty person. Forgive the unclear word. Since the article is for a woman's magazine, I need people of that sex to answer the questions...regardless of how they fence.
