Stabil 5 or Stabil 6 I was on zappos.com and found that they still have some of the adidas stabil 5's in stock. I can get the stabil 6's anywhere so which shoe would you all reccommend?
Thanks -
I like the 6s better than the 5s, as the 6s toe box is narrower, while wearing the 5s, when I lunged my foot would slide forward, ithat doesn't happen in the 6s... whichever one you get, replace the insoles in them.

I got a pair of Stabil 6s maybe a month ago, and am not entirely happy with them. They fence well, but I have a hard time getting the tension in the laces right. Either they're too loose, or they're cutting off circulation.
Also, as many have mentioned in other threads, the heel is a bit bulky for conventional footwork. "All things must pass. All things must fade away." - George Harrison -
can anyone find a place online where 6's are still available in sizes around the 10-12 area?
i can't. -

Array Stabil 5 if you have wide feet, 6 if you have narrow feet..... "I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. And from this side only! The flight of a half-man, half-bird. Dinosaurs nuzzling their young in pastures where strip malls should be. Cookies on dowels. All those moment, lost in time. Gone, like eggs off a hooker's stomach. Time to die" -Phil Ken Sebben -
The heel in the Stabil 5 looks a little less bulky to me. Has anyone noticed this in wearing them? My feet are in the middle, not wide, not narrow so that isn't a big issue.
