| Yay For Introductions! I just signed up last night.
I've been fencing foil for about a year and i'm getting to the point where i'm no longer fencing like a maniac holding a stick. coach somestimes congratulaytes me on actually sitting and lunging gfully (that or yells at me cuz my back knee isnt as bent as it should be on guard or as straight as it should be during a lung). I've done a little bit of sabre before and sometimes fence it for fun (that and it helps the footwork) never done epee, but I'd like to try it. I'm 16 and in highschoolif I'm not fencing im either reading, writing, with my friends or at band practice (i'm lead vocals for a band that's just starting up).
Well thats about it, i'm open for any questions you might care to ask/crticism you might care to give.
looking forward to learning/helping to teach, etc. |

| See? I knew there was a connection between bands and fencing! Anyways, Welcome. Foil and saber are without a doubt the best weapons to chose, though epee is fun to fence on occasion. Keep listening to your coach, make good use of the search function here, and as always have fun!

seriously thought, thanks for your support, i've been trying harder in fencing than anything else i've ever tried in, hopefully my coach will let me do some epee soon, i'm excited to try all thre types, even if i just stick with foil it'd be nice to have some variety and experience |
