| Why would that be? I thought the last day for rating changes for Summer Nationals was June 9th. I took particular note of this because I was attending a tournament on the 10th and thought "ratings changes won't mean anything in Atlanta". |

| The last day to change rankings for Nationals was the 16th of June. A clubmate earned his D in epee on the 17th, but was informed that he just missed the deadline. Now you can sneak in under the radar though.

| Milestones. I was beginning to wonder if my climb to Div 1 had reached a plateau. I've been a D forever. Now, an Arizona C doesn't mean much in the grand scheme of things but in the context of losing weight, gaining stamina, etc. I guess it means something.
I missed it at the Reno NAC by 3 touches.
Paul Gallico wrote something about there not being a "royal road" to the top.. the steep climb to the top protecting those who made it from the up and comers, etc. I know what he means and I'm not anywhere near the top...more like the lower-middle.
Any tips on making my stay at the "c" level shorter?
Thanks for the congrats and stuff!!

| i believe it is usually the monday before the tournament for NACs...
It makes sense to have a bigger window for Summer Nationals (IMHO)... lots more prep work for the organizers.
