THS Complaint

I have a potentially very serious complaint with the USFA booking agent – THS.

Back in April I attempted to book a room through THS at the Atlanta Hilton for Summer Nats. I did it late at night and the next day I got a message that there were no rooms available, despite the website showing that there were rooms. Okay, no big deal, for as it turned out, that room was not needed. I didn’t think about it again until this week when lodging for one night in June at the Atlanta Hilton showed up on my American Express card. No one with access to my card was in Atlanta – that leaves THS as the probable source. Fortunately, American Express has taken the claim immediately and is investigating, and I keep checking online to see if there is any other activity on my card. There hasn't been. And though it may just be a mistake, I am a bit spooked by this, considering all the identity theft that is out there.

Last year there was a thread of complaints about THS. In that thread it was stated that Michael Massik of the USFA was collecting complaints concerning THS. Does anyone know if that is still the case?

Unfortunately sending complaints to Michael Massik regarding THS is occationally like sending them to a black hole. I've been trying to find out for years who exactly THS is, why they were given this contract, and why there continue to be problems with them, all to no avail. I wish I could direct you to a better place to send your complaints, but I don't have one. Do mention it to your Sectional Board of Directors representative and also any of the Athlete Reps on the BOD.
