I must be getting all culturified in my old age. I am off to see a selection of Mozart's music (played in a spooky church in Edinburgh) next Saturday and the day after I am off to see "Lord of the Rings - The Symphony". It looks to be the same symphony advertised with the Return of the Kings extended boxed set.
In case anyone is wondering what I am talking about:
This is what I am on about.LOTR Concert: Scotland
Daniel from the Royal Scottish National Orchestra writes: For the first time in Scotland, the Royal Scottish National Orchestra (RSNO) will perform Howard Shore's symphonic version of the Oscar-winning soundtrack to The Lord of the Rings film trilogy. Conducted by Markus Huber, the RSNO will perform the symphony-in-six-movements with vocal and instrumental soloists, the RSNO Chorus and Junior Chorus, all accompanied by large-scale visual artwork projected onto the back of the stage. There are two performances at the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall - Saturday 24 June and Sunday 25 June, both start at 7.30pm. For more information go to rsno.org.uk or to book tickets log onto grch.com.
Has anyone seen it?
