| I know this is lame for a reply, but because he still speaks truth.
I only saw him live twice, but I am hooked.
(And what a body ^_^ ) |

| I love him.
I was lucky enough to interview him for a local magazine I write for. Very polite, very accomodating. |

| I would be terrified to interview him, eh? Like I just know he would pick me apart and I would not hold up to his scrutiny; not worthy and such. |

| haha, I would be more afraid to interview Glenn Danzig. Although I don't think I'd be able to interview Rollins without mentioning his role in Johnny Pneumonic...and that might get me my butt kicked.

| Actually he was an absolute pleasure to interview. Down to earth and really funny.
My favourite part line from the interview, which I used as my by-line was "I don't dumb it down because people aren't dumb".
The only problem came when one of our phone lines didn't work so he had to call us back on another line.
"Hello"
"Hi Henry. We have a problem with our phone right now. Could you call us back in ten minutes?"
"... ... ... *deep inhale* At ... *this* number ... ?"
"No this one ____"
" ... ... O ... K ... "
After that I leaned over to my editor and said "The other line better f*&king work because now Henry Rollins is mad at me".
But that was the only downside. |

| John Mnemonic was the first I encountered HR. Then I checked out some spoken word stuff and finally Black Flag and Rollins Band.
The really COOL thing about him is that he says what he feels, but like that call back thing... he was in no way rude, right, or anything like that but you, SJB, knew he analyzed it and you did not want to repeat it, eh? |
