allstar epee screws

I have a problem with the srews coming out of the epee tips from allstar, the latest ones lasted just under 3 fights (15 ) before the tip disapeared mid bout yet again. I will now be tightening scews between fights any other ideas to sort this problem

Yeah, all the German epee tip screws I've gotten have been loose as all hell and fall out fantastically quick. I ended up using the Leon Paul, which are a bit bigger and fit in more snuggly, you just can't go back to using the regular Germans after that though.

Guys,

If you want to stick with the German style tips right now, the only one out there that has any quality to it the FWF (fence with fun) tip. Uhlmann/Allstar bid out/outsource they're tip parts each year. The contract winner has diffrent quality controls from the previous year. It's weird, but, this years mfg is horrible (or POS if you prefer).

FWF was one of Uhlmann/Allstar's makers of tip parts several years back. They lost the contract, yet have a top notch tip!

If you are at the Summer Nat's, pick up a few. Make sure you see the "FWF" logo etched on the barrel. Stick with this brand for now and all will be fine.
