Super Elite Foil Blade - from Blade Fencing ??

Is anyone familiar with the performance of the Super Elite foil blade that Blade Fencing offers?

Is it worth getting? I'm looking for opinions here...

Thanks

In general I'm highly dubious of "name" blades. Especially when it has a name like that. What does it offer to you?

Well, here's what they have as a description about the blade.....if that's what you're asking:

Breakthrough in technology! The Super Elite blade is a high quality electric foil blade. More square shape then flat. Similar design to French forged blades. Has nice balance, weight and design. Recommended by our staff as one of our best blades approved for all domestic competitions including the Junior Olympics, North American Circuits and National Championships.

well all that means is that it's not of an illegal length.

I'd agree with KD5MDK, it sounds like a cheap chinese blade wrapped in sales baloney.

It looks similar in cross section and finish to a Dinamo or StM foil blade. Those are medium stiff blades with a decent balance. You can find the StMs for less than $30 unwired on other sites.

I am fully prepared to believe it comes from the Ukraine, Belorus, Russia, North or South Korea, Malaysia or a great many other places too.

Well, the picture shows a fleche blade, so it may be something new by them (Dynamo?).

In general I'm highly dubious of anything made by Blade...

I think I have the blade you're talking about. It's just a budget blade, nothing special about it.
