Array How do you make a light repeater? Our club is wanting to install light repeaters. The main type of scoring machine we have are the Eigertek boxes. Since they do not sell repeaters for them, (yet) how would you make one? If anybody has any designs or a list of needed electronic components, I'd appreciate it. "My name is Inigo Montoya. Step 3: Put the set of lights that you've built at the end(s) of the strip.
How hard step 2 is depends on what form the pinout takes.

Chuck Allen, an armorer from Florida, did the technical work for some extension lights that Jim Campoli sold a couple of years back. We bought a driver board from him that we then used to drive some BIG extension lights. I imagine he would still sell them. If you want, I can PM his E-mail to you. We drove them from both SG-12's and Sabre Industries machines. Should be able to do it with Eigerteks also.
Doing this makes sense only if you essentially have free labor. Whoopee! My avatar is back. -

Array I believe in the "eigertek announcement" thread in the General Fencing forum DieterS mentions that they're working on repeater lights. The only problem is that the hardware is costing too much. -

Array Does anyone know what the type of pin connector is called that is used for the Eigertek boxes for light extensions? "My name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die." -

Array I don't, but as Brad pointed out, Eigertek will tell you the pinout and such for their boxes if you ask them. -
