Inqy doesn't like the sound of that at all, at all! While I agree with you somewhat, the way you cut of that whole quote at the end with the ellipses is very... bastardly. The pen may be mightier than the sword, but why pick just one? -

Array I don't see why. The rest of the sentence doesn't alter the fact that most of my cells are aged and that I therefore do not view killing them off as a desideratum... Use the Shift key, people! Keyboard manufacturers everywhere are ineffably saddened when you ignore what they made just for you! -

Array I agree with you for a few reasons. One being it would just make my life easier. The second is the regulation issue. You would always know what you're buying and how strong it is (much like the proof of alcohol) so that you don't go looking for weed and get it laced with PCP. It's safer and I don't have a problem with people doing drugs in their own home or at a party. If they're not hurting anyone else, I see no reason to not legalize them. -

Seriously, I understand the shortcomings of the study, but I think it has a definite possibility of being legit, and it should be noted that it is very hard to do these types of studies with marijuana in-lab. Because of its vested interest in the War on Drugs(tm) the government is notorious for denying permission to test marijuana legally, especially for institutions or labs suspected of being pro-legalization. Array Make it all legal.
The love-children of the 1960's took acid to make the world around them wierd.
Their children are on ritalin and prozac to make the world normal.
I think a few joints thrown in the mix can't possibly make society any more confused or illogical when trying to determine why a double martini is socially acceptable and legal, and the aforementioned single joint can land you jail.
