    Marvel Universe Civil War

The super villain thread has reminded me to look into : Civil War.

I actually heard about it on Talk of the Nation (which of itself was a bit boggling) and it sounded interesting enough that I might pick up a few issues this summer - after all its only been 25 years or so...

Anyone picked this up, yet? Any thoughts?

All I can say is I feel sorry for anyone who crosses Iron Man.

I only really read the older comics, I had no idea this was going on. Anyone know where ought to start picking this stuff up from?

I'd imagine Magneto shoudln't have too much of a problem with Iron Man...at the worst he could find some way to electromagnetically stop Iron Man's internal suit function and give him a heart attack methinks...

Although it's a shame in this series there won't be a magneto and he won't have powers...

Right now I'm liking the anti registration act side a good deal more, but the majority of the 198 or so surviving mutants havn't been announced as choosing sides, and this could easily be changed by any number of different individuals.

I'm not an avid comic reader, I'll stop by the store and perhaps read a series or two, but as of late I havn't read as much.

This sounds interesting. I've been a spider-fan in the past, but I stopped reading in the middle of the last clone fiasco. I'll have to drop by my local comics shop tomorrow.

There's something nice about comic book stores. They are dark, cavernous, relaxing...apart from the occasional scary person are usualy kind of chill places.
