| US Summer Nationals - confirmed entry list Has the list of registered fencers been posted? The acceptance forms included a statement that "A Confirmed Entry list will be posted approximately two weeks after the May 18 deadline on the USFA website." I looked and didn't see it but that doesn't mean much as more often than not I can't find information on the website. Also there is also supposed to be an Automatics list already up which I haven't been able to locate as well.

| I wouldn't expect it until the late-entry deadline has passed. June 9th, is it? Maybe a couple of days after that at the aerliest.
In all candor I look for it a bout a week before Nationals start...

| Here is the Summer Nationals Confirmed Athlete List in xls format. I'll be putting them on the USFA website tomorrow or Friday.
Christine Simmons asked me to include this:
If there is an "R" before your event, there may be an issue with your entry. Please email for more information - christine.simmons@usfencing.org |

| Thanks!
I haven't implemented my formulas all the way down to Vets or youth age groups, but at the moment, excluding Vet WS and team events, there are 838 entries for Wednesday, July 5. That should be a fun day. |

| Can someone post this in another format? I don't have excel and no other program will let me open the thing. All I really need is DivIII ME. Thanks

I assume you're in one of those divisions...
Doing it by weapon is more difficult, especially since div3 ME has like 200 entries or whatever. |

| Thanks, mrbiggs. I am in the LA division. I forget that there are 2 divisions in Louisiana.

| you can download an excel viewer, which allows you to look at the files but not create any. same for powerpoint and most other uber expensive programs. they are provided for free on the microsoft website.

| I sent in my entry March 30th. I got my fax back confirmation April 3rd, my petition (I couldn't make it to Sectionals) was approved April 9th, and the USFA has cashed my check.
I haven't received my confirmation letter and I'm not on the confirmed entry list. I emailed Christine Simmons about this Monday, June 5th, and haven't heard back from her.
What should I do?
Thanks,
RJM |

| So what are thos rating listings after the entries supposed to be for? I thought it might be refs ratings for a minute but that wouldn't be consistent all the way down, nor would actual ratings....so ?

| The ratings I see are your ratings for the relevant event. So for example, if I were competing it would read: Quote: |
KD5MDK SOUTH TEXAS DIV3MS DIV2MS DIV3ME DIV3MF ... D06 D06 E05 U
| Because my D06 will apply to most sabre events, my epee rating will apply to the epee event, and my foil unrating will likewise. |

| That's what I though but in looking at several of the names there's not even a creative way that that could be right unless a it just happens that at least 50% of the names I glanced at had wrong information.

She's really busy right now, which is probably the problem, but e-mails do get lost sometimes. Bring with you to Summer Nationals your fax back confirmation, the approval letter for your petition, and a copy of your canceled check, along with your membership card.

Do you know why you always end up in the longest line at the checkout? Because the majority of people are in that line, statistically speaking, so you are more likely to be in it. That and the Turtle God has had it in for you since you were born.
