| Venom and Carnage were both pretty damn cool, and both super villains (at least part of the time lol). Magneto has some pretty interesting developments in some books. Darth Vader (if we can count the Star Wars comics, though I've never read any of them), the Violator (Spawn), Doc Ock, and the Joker all come to mind as well. I wasn't a big fan of the mega huge badguys (the Beyonder, Michael Korvac, etc.), or the ones who might as well not have had a personality (Sandman, for instance).

| Magneto, man. The helmet is just cool.

| Tough question...
Venom and Carnage
Judge Death
The Joker
These are all favourites and I would have a hard time picking between them. |

| I always liked the Punisher, though he's usually more of an anti-hero. Magneto, Joker, Carnage, Venom. Willam Dafoe as Green Goblin was VERY well acted; too bad the costume sucked. I really can't emphasize Magneto enough. Making his experience in a Nazi concentration camp develop his bitterness toward humanity was such a stroke of genius that really serves to create a sad sort of sympathy with his mindset.

| The reason why Magneto works so well is that he isn't malevolently evil. He has an easily understandable train of thought; he is human. He is doing what he believes is best for the world and mutants, and intends to bring no harm to those he doesn't need to. He even takes over the academy in some X-men time lines after Charles Xavier dies....

| Unicron from the Transformers movie. Perhaps it was Orson Welles boomingly deep voice, but Unicron made for an awesomely entertaining, menacing and yet breif character. |

| After being prompted by Watchmen
It occurs to me that I overlooked The Invisible Man and Dr Jekyll from the League comics. I wouldn't exactly say that these guys were "good guys". |

| I think the Canadians could well have the new most vile cartoon character in Captain Copyright. You just have to look at him to feel icy fear pass up your spine. Thank you Canada. |

| Ultimately Venom and Joker, two classics that are hard to beat.
Honorable mention goes to Galactus!
Who could argue with:
"No matter how many worlds I devour... how many civilizations I destroy ... it is my destiny to one day give back to the universe -- infinitely more than I have ever taken from it. So speaks Galactus!"
I also always liked Professor Zoom, the Reverse Flash. Hero worship gone bad.

| I would have to go with The Red Skull and Galactus although Loki was pretty cool in the Marvel Universe.

Ok, sure....it sucked when YOUR planet was on the menu, but still...
Joker's got to be on the top of the list |

I swear, this country (and planet, for what it's worth) is getting stupider by the day.
But, that out of the way, evil villain would be:
Thrakkorzog, or Plankton.
