| I like the StM blades, wherever you may be able to find them (and under whatever name). The one I've got is relatively light, has a balance I like, and has lasted a while. It was also... $20? Something like that. |

| Again thanks to all from this beginner! OK, how do you balance a blade? Now, some may say boy oh boy this guy really is a beginner but remember, we all start somewhere and learning should be a lifetime adventure! So yea, I got a decent Y blade, now again, how to balance it? I do plenty of metal work (very delicate) with scale ship models so doing this doesn't scare me at all....Keith |

The amount is to taste and will vary depending on personal preference and other components of the weapon. How significant balancing is can also be highly fencer-dependent.
I would suggest searching for the threads in the armory section (where this whole discussion belongs) as you're likely to get a more comprehensive and useful answer there than by continuing this thread here.
