| Captain Jack from Doctor Who!
What, never heard of him?
What a sad, sad Whovian I am.
But if you must know, Janeway, Picard, and Kirk, three way tie.
Janeway, woman power!
Picard, fencing power!
Kirk, man power! (Plus, he's a lot better looking than Picard... many alien women will attest to that! )

| Kirk is the most badass, IMO. Picard has a more sophisticated air about him, but he can still hold is own in the captain battle here. However my heart belongs to Captain Janeway... or maybe it's the pheromones talking... All Hail Queen Arachnia!!!

| I've always been a fan of "The Sisko".
Never liked Janeway, partly because the writers of that series sucked and ruined many of the good aspects of the Star Trek series, partly because I can't stand Kate Mulgrew. She is really good at playing the B**ch ie Throw Momma From the Train.
Also, I agree with the Mal votes. I would quote one of his witty lines from "Shindig" but I'm just too tired to think of any.

| Just because nobody appeared to be aware of my reference to Captin Pirk I'll point to this: http://www.starwreck.com/
This is one of the best satires of Sci-Fi I've ever seen in any form and lots of kick-ass special effects. Worth a download if you have the bandwidth. |

| My 2 favorites are Picard and Kirk. Which is the favorite, it would depend on teh senerio. If we were going to a Diplomatic conference that the fate of my galaxy depended on, I'd have to go with Capt. Picard. If it's a party, drinking blue booze and frolicking with green hookers, NO ONE BUT Captain Kirk!! |

I don't think there are any Trek-related shows on at the moment, but I could be wrong.
Captain Kirk is from the original series. Captain Picard is from the Next Generation series. Hence the debate.

| Star Trek started in 1966 and ran for three seasons; The Next Generation in 1987 and ran for seven. ST: Deep Space Nine began in 1993 and also ran for seven seasons. Star Trek: Voyager began in 1995 and ran for seven seasons. (Star Trek: ) Enterprise began in 2001 and ran for four seasons. It was cancelled in 2005 and there are currently no Star Trek episodes being produced. There are also ten Star Trek movies, six featuring the original cast and four with the cast from TNG. There is currently talk about an eleventh ST movie.

I really hope you downloaded the english subtitles, otherwise you might have troubles. It's seriusly worth a look though, for Babylon 5 fans and Star Trek fans especially, though there's definetely stuff in there for everybody.
I've also heard no mention of Captain Archer, or doesn't anybody watch Enterprise? |

| I'm a Kirk fan, but... Sisko did punch Q, while Trelane used Kirk and his crew as toys.

Wow...that's all kinds of awesome.
As far as Star Trek captains, I'd have to go with Picard.
Overall, though, Captain Susan Ivanova. |
