Nah, it's real. I've known some players who could do it. Peter can correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe most of the players who do this have made a small depression in the tip of their stick. It's still hard as hell, and it SUCKS to play goal against someone who is good at this Whatever doesn't kill you, is gonna leave a scar...
