Wires for the Leon Paul PTFE Tips

Hi there,

I am using a leon paul epee tip and I ran out of the leon paul wires. I need to rewire an epee blade for this weekend and I only have french and german wires. I searched the threads but wasn't able to find out whether the tips would accept a german wire or french wire. Anybody have any experience with this? Thanks.

They should be compatible...the block for the LP wires and that of a Sport 7 wire look identical in size.

Hey there RP,

I haven't tried putting a german (fwf) wire into the LP barrels but the LP epee points are german style.

I have used french, german, PbT, and chinese wires without any difficulties in the LP barrels.
